How EMDR Works (In Simple Terms):

EMDR helps the brain reprocess distressing memories using bilateral stimulation (such as guided eye movements, tapping, or sounds). This helps the memory move from “emotionally raw” to “processed and neutral”—so you can think about it without feeling overwhelmed by it.

The process follows an 8-phase model, including history-taking, preparation, desensitization, and installation of positive beliefs. We’ll walk you through each step gently and at your pace.
